Tap is a classical dance style that focuses on rhythm and coordination. It’s a fabulous way to exercise your body and your memory. As each level progresses dancers will build upon what they have learned and start memorizing new patterns and syncopated rhythms. After a few classes, don’t be surprised when you find yourself tapping in your kitchen!
Contemporary is a mixture of dance styles combined into an artistic display of movement and emotion. Aesthetically, contemporary is most similar to lyrical but can incorporate qualities of many different dance styles. A fun, unique class that allows dancers to learn how to be adaptable.
Lyrical trains dancers how to emote while they are dancing and connecting to the music. This class combines the technique and grace of ballet with the power and dynamics of jazz.
